канальное кодирование/декодирование. Процедура канального кодирования четко определена в Рекомендации GSM 05.03. Информационные биты кодируются систематическим блоковым кодом с образованием сочетания информационных слов с битами четности; эти информационные биты и биты четности кодируются сверточным кодом с образованием кодированных битов; кодированные биты переупорядочиваются и перемежаются, к ним добавляется контрольный (stealing) бит, и в результате получаются перемеженные биты.
