снятие с обслуживания. Действие, предпринимаемое провайдером услуг с целью лишить абонента доступа к той или иной службе (услуге). Снятие с обслуживания может быть: общим, т. е. доступа к службе лишаются все абоненты, которые его имели; или индивидуальным, т. е. абоненты лишаются доступа к услуге на индивидуальной основе.
