радиосота, сота. Наименьшая зона обслуживания в сотовой сети мобильной радиосвязи, в которой используется конкретное радиооборудование для установления и поддержания каждого соединения, а также обеспечивается определенное качество приема. На местном уровне сота определяется как область, различаемая мобильными станциями по идентификационному коду базовой станции (BSIC), сота также уникально определяется как область, различаемая сетью по глобальному идентификатору соты.
